• 1/7匹。本種とアロエウスミツノカブトの雌との違いが未だ良くわからず。全て一緒に飼育中。７匹を横からも撮影すること。
• 3/7について、3550ft。90f30%hと好条件。終日降雨無し。
• 虫友Tによれば、本種は木に登ることはないという。いつも土っぽいのはそのためか。飼育環境においては木を置いているが未だしがみついている姿を見たことがないこととも一致する。
• となると、成虫の食樹はなんだろうか。パイナップルで長生きするけれども、研究論文探してみること。
• 6/7について、雷雨と弱めの雨。"20: f79h54%-22: f77h58%"。本種は割と天候に左右されずに飛び回るタイプとの印象は今年でさらに強くなった。
• 7/7について、終日82/90/73 ss7:15pm 18夜 20:f78.1h52% mph3.5
• 9/19 死亡した個体を拡大してようやく雄であることを確認。わずかに突起した頭角のようなものが前胸背板の頭部に近いところにまず一つ、その後方に窪みがあるように見える部分が横からみると二つの角と言えなくもない程度のごく控えな突起。
• 9/19 6匹生存中ながら、すでに初令幼虫を一匹確認できたのでこの６匹の中に雌がいるはず。
